Google database will inflate with vitange stuff as it gets busy scanning old newspapers. These newspaper are not available online and Google wants to change that by bringing them online.

Google is partnering with newspaper publishers to digitize millions of pages of news archives. From the smallest local weekly paper up to the largest national daily all gets under Google scanners.

As a result more old newspapers will be accessible and search-able online. For example check 1969 article of Pittsburgh Post-Gazette 'We're on the Moon'.

Google will present you original newspaper in its purest form loaded with photographs, headlines, articles, advertisements - exactly as they were printed. As pointed by Google Blog, this is just beginning.

They will get more newspapers under their scanners by partnering with more and more publishers. epaper concept is really cool and vintage epaper sounds ever cooler - what say? Search existing stuff using Google News Archive
