Encryption is here!!

Otixo... bringing the clouds to you.

Encrypt your stuff with Otixo and keep it (safe) in your favorite places!

Encryption

Our latest feature debut is here and we're pretty darn excited about it. The Otixo Developers have created a new encryption function using AES 256 with a mix of server-side and end-to-end encryption, depending on where you're encrypting your files. To read more about how our encryption works go here.

Unlimited encryption is just 99¢ a month, but every free account has 5 opportunities to try it out. Its addition is triggering changes throughout our service - read on to see how Sharing, Spaces and Pricing will be forever altered.

Sharing & Spaces

All sharing now happens within a Space. Sharing encrypted files with Spaces alleviates the usual perils of sharing encrypted files - you'll never need to share a key. Keys are shared through access to Spaces and revoked at any time. Read more about how Spaces work here.

Changes to our Free Account

We're taking the transfer restrictions off our free account. Transfer as many files as you like, at any time. Here's a glimpse of our new pricing model:

In our wildest dreams we could never have gotten this far without the support of our users. Thanks for using Otixo and thank you for sharing us with your network!

To save web pages forever

Internet Archive doesn't offer an option to download saved pages but Archive. Is can be a good alternative. It is very similar to archive.org in the sense that you enter the page URL and it will make an exact snapshot of the web page on their server. The page will be stored online forever but here you also have the option to download the saved page as a ZIP file. It too provides date based archives so you can have multiple snapshots of the same page for different days.
